Yes, Residence Hilda has an elevator serving all floors.
Guelfa 56, instead, is located on the second floor and does not have an elevator, but the staircase is quite wide.
Casa Il Patio doesn’t have an elevator either, but it’s on the ground floor and features a lovely private garden 😊.
Absolutely yes! At Residence Hilda and in all our vacation homes, dogs are more than welcome and stay for free. We also provide beds and bowls for them.
Yes, it is fully accessible. The elevator and all our apartments are step-free, except for a small 10 cm step to enter the shower.
To make shower and bath access easier, we provide a shower chair and a special seat for the bathtubs.
Please note: Guelfa 56 and Casa Il Patio are not accessible for guests with disabilities.
Yes! Residence Hilda is just 250 meters from Florence’s Cathedral (the Duomo), while our vacation homes Guelfa 56 and Casa Il Patio are only 450 meters from the Accademia Gallery (a 6-minute walk).
Yes, Residence Hilda offers parking through a nearby partner garage (paid service). You can also use our convenient paid pick-up and return car service.
Additionally, there’s a public paid parking area right behind us, in Piazza Brunelleschi.
For the vacation homes, the nearest paid parking is the Sant’Orsola Garage, just a few steps away.
Yes, Residence Hilda is right in the heart of Florence, within the Limited Traffic Zone. However, our guests are always allowed access.
The garage will take care of registering your license plate in the official “white list” of authorized vehicles—no need to do anything in advance.
If you prefer to park in the public lot, we can register your plate for you for a fee of €5 per entry.
You can arrive whenever you wish. At Residence Hilda, we offer a free luggage storage in case your suite isn’t ready yet.
For the vacation homes, there is a paid luggage storage facility just across the street, and we’ll notify you as soon as your home is ready.
We’ll be happy to arrange it if possible—it depends on availability. Just let us know your desired departure time, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Yes, Residence Hilda offers free high-speed fiber Wi-Fi throughout the building.
Yes. At Residence Hilda we offer:
A wash & dry service (clothes washed, dried, and folded — €30 for two provided laundry bags, returned within 24 hours, Monday to Saturday, excluding holidays).
A dry-cleaning service for delicate garments (price depends on the item, returned within 24 hours, Monday to Saturday, excluding holidays).
At our vacation homes, guests have access to a washing machine with detergent and softener provided free of charge.
Yes! In the public parking lot of Piazza Brunelleschi, right behind the Residence, there are several charging stations with dedicated and free parking spots.
There’s also a charger available in the partner garage offering pick-up and drop-off service.
For Guelfa 56 and Casa Il Patio, charging stations are available at the Sant’Orsola Garage.
No, but we’ll be happy to arrange a private driver or call a taxi for your departure.
